This t used to be the Butchers Arms which features in Fortuna's Deadly Shadow. If you look closely, it's former name is still shown just below the roof.
This time a location from Sabrina's Teardrop (credit to Barry Jennings for the photo). It's Princess Street, #shrewsbury where May visits the YWCA. Incidentally, whilst I'm at it, you may recall that the book features a dog called a Boerboel. I came across the breed during my research but I'd never actually seen one in real life. Well, 2 weeks ago I came across a dog that was half Boerboel, half Corso. A massive beast but more likely to drown you in drool than savage you. One thing was certain, if the dog decided to launch itself, the owner wouldn't have had a hope in hell of stopping it. Thankfully this one seem to have been blessed with a soppy gene.
I post regularly on my Facebook Page but have realised it would be useful to have somewhere to 'store' posts (especially with historical/background content) for the benefit of readers. I have now transferred many of my former posts here so that they can easily be found. using the Blogspot label system. The list of labels can be found by clicking on the dropdown in the top left of the page. So for example, clicking on the label for Sabrina's Teardrop will provide all posts and images relevant to that book.
I'm pleased to say that since taking back control of my E-books there has been a noticeable upsurge in readers, so I thought I should start occasionally re-posting photos showing locations from previous books. This of course is the weir at Treforest from Fortuna's Deadly Shadow.
