 Modern view of Long Row (Danny's street in the book), one of the oldest streets in Treforest, The houses are two storey on the other side, facing the river and the original road leading down to Treforest Tinplate Works. The road shown was originally a back lane.

  This time a location from Sabrina's Teardrop (credit to Barry Jennings for the photo). It's Princess Street, #shrewsbury where May visits the YWCA. Incidentally, whilst I'm at it, you may recall that the book features a dog called a Boerboel. I came across the breed during my research but I'd never actually seen one in real life. Well, 2 weeks ago I came across a dog that was half Boerboel, half Corso. A massive beast but more likely to drown you in drool than savage you. One thing was certain, if the dog decided to launch itself, the owner wouldn't have had a hope in hell of stopping it. Thankfully this one seem to have been blessed with a soppy gene.
