 So, is there any downside to the Fortuna E-book compared to the original paperback?

Well, I confess there is just one. The latest E-book doesn't have the maps. There are a couple of reasons for this. One of them is technical, due to the difficulty in formatting them correctly from the sources I had. However, the other is market driven. Having researched in some detail, I discovered that online book browsers hate having to scroll through 'front matter'. You need to get prospective readers onto the first page of the story as soon as possible. However, in case someone feels they are missing out, here they are. The maps were amended from original Ordinance Survey maps.

  This time a location from Sabrina's Teardrop (credit to Barry Jennings for the photo). It's Princess Street, #shrewsbury where May visits the YWCA. Incidentally, whilst I'm at it, you may recall that the book features a dog called a Boerboel. I came across the breed during my research but I'd never actually seen one in real life. Well, 2 weeks ago I came across a dog that was half Boerboel, half Corso. A massive beast but more likely to drown you in drool than savage you. One thing was certain, if the dog decided to launch itself, the owner wouldn't have had a hope in hell of stopping it. Thankfully this one seem to have been blessed with a soppy gene.
