Sabrina
A little while ago I posted a picture of the Dingle ornamental gardens as featured in Sabrina's Teardrop. In the book a meeting takes place by the statue of Sabrina, the goddess of the River Severn. Here she is in all her glory.
Sabrina's Teardrop - Princess Street
This time a location from Sabrina's Teardrop (credit to Barry Jennings for the photo). It's Princess Street, #shrewsbury where May visits the YWCA. Incidentally, whilst I'm at it, you may recall that the book features a dog called a Boerboel. I came across the breed during my research but I'd never actually seen one in real life. Well, 2 weeks ago I came across a dog that was half Boerboel, half Corso. A massive beast but more likely to drown you in drool than savage you. One thing was certain, if the dog decided to launch itself, the owner wouldn't have had a hope in hell of stopping it. Thankfully this one seem to have been blessed with a soppy gene.
